Description

This is my "ponysona" (am I cool yet? Jk), made using my MLP base... Yes, I'm aware that both wings and a horn are considered 'Mary Sue-ish' for MLP, but I really don't care for this one. It's a 'sona, not an actual OC, after all, and I also haven't really figured out what of the main options would suit me the best.

"Then why isn't there an Earth Pony version?" you may be asking. The reason for that is that I'm really not very strong, nor am I particularly athletic, and I have a black thumb when it comes to cultvating any kind of plant.

"Athleticism is also part of Pegasi!" some of you might feel like informing me. I know that they're the ones considered to be the most 'sporty', but I've always fantasised about being able to fly, so I couldn't leave that option out just yet...

"If that's the case, why not just go with Pegaus and leave out Unicorn altogether!" you might now be thinking... The thing is, creativity and various art and 'culture'-related things are pretty much my prime passions. I couldn't leave that out of the equation, either...

Yup, it may be 'Sue-ish', but what seems to suit me the best is either the Alicorn or being able to swap and change as the need arises.

Also, yes, I'm using a black coat colour. No, it's not non-canon, and no, I'm not just talking about Sombra or Nightmare Moon/Luna... There's at least one or two background ponies that are also very dark --one that I can think of right now is even black (called 'Dark Moon', apparently). I think the darker coat makes the other colours 'pop', especially the rather dull colour of those eyes (which are my actual eye colour, give or take, if you don't count the heterochromia that would have been a real pain to include).

Another thing that I'm not going to be changing is those wings. I like them like this, although it's possible I'll change the colour of those flight feathers at a later date...

I suppose I should also explain something about that rump-stamp, too, huh? Oh, and yes, that's the RUMP, not the flank, and I find it hilarious that 'flank' is the official term... Anyways, the flame? Take your pick from 'the flame of creative thinking', 'fire is my favourite mystical element' (yes, I know that's lack-lustre), 'passionate about things', and a sort of connection to the mythology of phoenixes, which has always been something that I've felt 'clicks' with me, especially in the past decade of my life. I won't go too in-detail with that, here, however. As for the rest of it, the 'swirlies' and 'sparklies' are really just for the creativity angle, nothing more.

EDIT: Added a larger, clearer look at the CM, and it was pointed out to me that it could also be taken as being a reference to the Southern Cross constellation... I didn't really think about that when I designed it, but hey! Why not? xD It's on my country's flag, after all...!
